Welcome!

I’m Taryn Raine, the face and passion behind The Remote Yogi. I am about to take off on an adventure of a lifetime and I cannot wait to share it with you!

Why am I here? A few reasons: to teach what I love, share my adventures, and connect with other cool people who are trying to find some balance in their busy lives.

Do any of these statements sound familiar?

  • I really want to more fitness into my life, but struggle to find time for it.
  • I want to eat healthier but it feels impossible when I am living on a budget and don’t know where to begin.
  • I want to create healthy habits but my life is too unpredictable for consistency.

I totally get it! I have a reputation of continuously biting off more than I can chew and it can be a struggle to stay healthy and motivated when it feels like you have little time for yourself.

As a yoga instructor, this is one of the top conflicts that I hear from my students! I created this blog to be a great resource for fitness/yoga advice, healthy recipes and eating tips, and my tips on balancing life and spirituality.

There’s a bonus: I left for a year-long trip May 28th with the company, Remote Year. While I am new to international travel, I am already researching and learning a ton about travel. You will get to learn all about my destinations, the advice I learn along the way, and updates on what is not working (exploration).
